Isolated Output

Eachoftheeight isolateddigitaloutputchannels comeequippedwith

eightdarlingtontransistorsfeaturingcommonemittersandintegral

suppressiondiodesforinductiveloads.

Iftheexternalvoltage(5to40V)isconnectedtoeachisolatedoutput

channel(IDO)anditsisolateddigitaloutputturnson(max.of200

mAperchannel),thecard'scurrentwillsinkfromtheexternal

voltage. The current through each E.GND should not exceed 50 mA.

If the current forallchannels combined exceed 150mA,returnthe

currenttotheexternalvoltage through CN2. Thefollowing figure

showshowtoconnectanexternaloutputloadtothecard'sisolated

outputs.
